Sheets, Sheets & Caughman: Art for Living and Living Art

Chaffey Community Museum of Art presents a joint exhibition with the Ontario Museum of History and Art called Art for Living and Living for Art. The exhibition features three artists — Millard Sheets, Tony Sheets (CHS '61) and CCMA artist member Rick Caughman. What these three artists share is a duality of their art. Each created art for commercial and public art applications, and each produced a significant body of art for their own pleasure.

Lolly Allen,  a superb young vibraphonist/ multi-instrumentalist,  brings her exciting quintet, featuring pianist Josh Nelson, Danny Janklow on sax, Paul Kreibich (drums) and bassist Jordan Richards. to Jazz by the Sea next month. A Boston native and New England conservatory graduate, she has performed at numerous festivals and  clubs nationwide and an appearance next week at the Newport Beach Jazz Party.
